I am a PhD candidate in German Studies at Vanderbilt, specializing in the intersection of Brazilian and German cultures and literatures. My interest in the digital humanities stems from the integration of social media networking platforms into the introductory and intermediate German courses I have taught. I'm interested in refining and better integrating Twitter use in my classroom as well as exploring other methods of social media use in the humanities.
