Elizabeth Gibbons began her teaching career at Fulton High School in Knoxville, Tennessee while her earning her Master’s Degree in Education from The University of Tennessee. She then taught AP and IB English for eight years at Hillsboro High School where she served as Forensics and Debate Coach. She helped create professional development seminars for the Tennessee Department of Education and presented the seminars from the summer of 2008 until 2010. She currently teaches at The Academy at Opry Mills, and her professional motto is “To teach is to learn every day.”
